Unlike other patents in the extraction industry Pforma patents are on the entire design and method with separate component and ancillary equipment patents. They are the source of other extractor and extraction patents acquired in the industry within the last 10 years..
PForma Processing Systems utilizes trademarked and patented Botanical Extraction Process design and methods that adds FORMULATION ability to Industrial Scale Botanical Processing and much more..
PForma Equipment allows any company with a need for large scale processing to extract and create a unique formulated product from any genus species or combination of plants within the plant kingdom including polar, non polar and volatile targets using multiple varying polarity solvents or a single polarity solvent. This is 100% done using thermodynamics so that non flammable volatile and flammable volatile solvents can be used safely for the first time.
If you want to dominate an industry that is primed for plant based Pharmaceutical grade processing in the medical and supplement market this is what you will need.
The manner in which one goes about extracting chemical compounds from plants is not something that changes due to limitations of an extraction process, equipment design limitations or lack of knowledge/trade secrets and surely not due to a lack of ip rights or regulations. The physical characteristics of a target or targets you want to remove from the plant/s dictates that process entirely. They have a specific polarity that is dissolved by a specific solvent. They have a specific weight, boiling point, density and can be a liquid or solid to name a few characteristics. They may vaporize from a solid or they may melt into a liquid before vaporizing. If your process is not capable of following those requirements exactly your yield array will suffer while adding unnecessary cost labor and time and in most cases hazards while in the end producing costly inconsistent results. A process must above all be safe but while being safe it must be multi solvent capable which includes the use of volatile/pressurized solvents as well as volatile flammable solvents with varying polarities. Why use more than one solvent? Because a plant's desireable array is rarely extracted with a single solvent.
A design must also employ a method that allows a great range of control of every variable that exist in the extraction process or the process cannot be repeated. You can call a uncontrolled variable a rogue variable and if just one variable is rogue or erratic you have no formulation capability and cannot repeat the process consistenlty. This may prevent FDA or state approval in the future. Examples of a variable are contact time, solvent polarity, contact temperature, density, solvent volume and more. Pforma employs a method and design that can do all this while still being compliant.
This is what separates PForma Processing Systems apart from the rest of the available systems today. We build safe patent protected and enforced industrial scale formulated extraction process that can standardize a out of control industry allowing you to become the leader. Trying to operate within the limits of a piece of equipment would be illogical if given an option. These other processes were created as a way to counter a lack of ip rights, knowledge of trade secrets or inability to build working copies of a patented process. Those systems are inefficient and impractical producing inconsistent costly results. In the consumable and medical production field that is not an option.
A complete recorded digital monograph / written record is produced with all PForma extraction processes. A monitored computer controlled process provides a consistent and repeatable output using a formula created for every extraction batch of any genus species, strain or proprietary harvest. We are not talking about timers and temp controls. Very few people know that there are a finite amount of variables that must be controlled in an extraction process to control the output exactly. The Pforma process discovered and developed control of ALL THE 7 VARIABLES that alter the output of an extraction process. Not one variable is left uncontrolled. We also developed a system that gives the greatest range of control. If even one variable were uncontrolled the output would be erratic and prevent formulation creation or replication. This allows you to come back time after time and replicate the steps ensuring repeatability for compliance and standardization using a computer to control the entire process.
This will be required for producing plant derived consumable products and if your country or state is not requiring it you can expect that to change in the near future. Ask your equipment manufacturer if they can control all the variables or if they know what the 7 variables are
With PForma’s protected proprietary process we are capable of limitting what we target to approach an absolute extract or we can turn it loose to produce a true full spectrum concrete extracting all the chemical compound arrays in any plant in the safest most efficient economical way. There are no targets out of our reach due to the range of solvents and methods we can employ. We can do this at any scale allowing unlimited access the most volatile targets of any polarity not within reach with other processes. Once the controls are learned we simply save it as a proprietary formula to be repeated on the next batch harvest after harvest. If the farmer changes his harvest we create a new formula to capture the new targets or try to replicate the same outout.
After extraction, the opened containers and finished product are void of solvent allowing a solvent free product which translates to a safer lower cost process. Lowest cost in the industry by a factor of 50% reduction or more.
In additon to other cost reductions solvent is recovered for reuse indefinitely. In large scale industrial processes reuse of a consumable can save millions of dollars which can allow you to reduce cost and gain pricing advantages not provided with other processes.
All these features are a requirement and should be required of any extraction. It is not talked about in the industry because it cannot be done with other processes. They either dont understand it, dont know about it or dont have the licensing rights and conveniently dont mention it.
The Pforma process is not new. Tamisium Extractors was the brand that first introduced the basic method and design into the cannabis industry fully aware of its true destiny and capability. To propogate the basic understanding of the methods Tamisium sold 1000s of smaller systems ranging from table top to 100 lb processors pioneering the cannabis extraction industry. It propogated before regulators could get a grasp on how to control it. This momentum surely played a role in permitting and legalization. From those base systems many derivatives were made which failed to hold onto to all the controls. Tamisium never explained the entire process method or introduced automation to control complex processes because the industry using the systems only sought a single target from a single plant.
The situation has changed. CBD, CBN, THC, CBG, Allantoin, and even some narcotics such as DMT and Psilocybin will be in the lineup as legal targets soon. We will have markets for other targets from many genus species of plants, hybridized strains and genetically modified controlled seeds.
The method and design was scaled up to this new 1 ton size embracing every facet learned in the last 20 years, for the future.
